Licensing
Document Library Explorer supports three license types
In order for the web part to function, license information must be entered into
the web.config of the server on which the web part is installed and run.
Evaluation License
This type of license allows Document Library Explorer to be installed on a
SharePoint server for a period of 30 days for the purpose of evaluating the
software. The software is a fully functioning version, but will display an
information message advising the user of when the license will expire.
At the end of the evaluation period the software will cease to function and you
will be required to upgrade to a Virtual Server License.

Server and Enterprise Licenses
An enterprise license allows the sofware to be installed on any number of
servers within your organisation.
A server license allows the software to be installed on a single production
server running Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 or SharePoint Portal Server
2003. Allowance is also made for installing onto a development and QA/UAT
server.
The license key is generated based on the name of the host used to access
sharepoint. If the SharePoint server can be accessed by multiple different
host names (ie if an intranet url is different to the url used for extranet
or internet access) then each url needs to be entered when configuring the
license key. Up to five different host names can be entered. At runtime,
the webpart checks the host name sent in the Request header and checks that
this is valid for the key.
Licenses can be purchased here,
and the host names can be configured by visiting the
license key management page
